Due to the forecast of extreme weather, the University of Iowa will not hold in-person classes on Tuesday, Jan. 16. Instructors scheduled to teach in-person on Tuesday should plan to teach their classes via Zoom.

The Iowa Department of Education was awarded a $25.8 million federal GEAR UP grant to prepare students for postsecondary success. The University of Iowa will again serve as a partner institution for the program, providing support to students and families from 13 Iowa school districts.
