Blumberg recognized with 2025 Distinguished Scientist Award
Mark Blumberg, University of Iowa Distinguished Chair in the Department of Psychological and Brain Sciences in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, was awarded the 2025 Distinguished Scientist Award from the Sleep Research Society.

Khalastchi wins National Jewish Book Award
Daniel Khalastchi, director of the Magid Center for Writing in the College of Liberal Arts and Sciences, received the Berru Poetry Award in Memory of Ruth and Bernie Weinflash for his book, The Story of Your Obstinate Survival.
