Work to support student learning outside the classroom, such as mentoring or facilitating experiential learning, can become a source of evidence for assessment of teaching when instructors provide documentation of efforts to monitor and improve their support for student learning in these contexts.

We will continue to work with campus partners to develop guidance for instructors on documenting, monitoring, and improving their support for student learning outside the classroom.
