Reminder: The University of Iowa Honorary Degree Selection Committee seeks nominations for the 2021-2022 academic year. These prestigious awards may be conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements in such areas as scholarship (to include research or artistic creation), education, social activism, human rights, innovation, or invention beneficial to society, and humanitarian outreach. Nominations where philanthropy or the possibility of future endowments to the institution are the main focus will not be considered. Please note: this award is not conferred posthumously.
