All pre-tenure faculty members are invited to attend an upcoming session hosted by the Office of the Provost regarding UI Promotion and Tenure on Friday, November 6th, 2020.  Online registration is required by Monday, November 2nd, 2020: UI Promotion and Tenure Qualtrics Survey.  Please encourage your pre-tenure faculty to attend.  

Lois J. Geist, MD, Associate Provost for Faculty, will provide an overview of the University’s tenure review process, including information about faculty development resources available to support faculty during their pre-tenure years and beyond,  career planning, key steps in the tenure process, automatic and discretionary extensions, and voluntary review. This program is designed to complement information provided at the collegiate level.
