Subject: REMINDER: CALL FOR HONORARY DEGREE NOMINATIONS

Reminder: The University of Iowa Honorary Degree Selection Committee seeks nominations for the 2021-2022 academic year. Given delays and virtual commencement, we would look inviting individuals to receive the degree during the AY 21-22. These prestigious awards may be conferred upon individuals who have demonstrated extraordinary achievements in such areas as research, scholarship, education, artistic creation, social activism, human rights, innovation or invention beneficial to society, and humanitarian outreach. Nominations where philanthropy or the possibility of future endowments are the main focus will not be considered. Please note: this award is not conferred posthumously.
