Faculty Fellow for Excellence in Teaching and Learning
The Faculty Fellow for Excellence in Teaching and Learning will work with the associate provost for undergraduate education on project(s) to advance the teaching and learning goals of the UI 2022-2027 strategic plan. For consideration, applicants must demonstrate an established record as an effective teacher, strong communication and interpersonal skills, an understanding of student learning needs, and the ability to work across departmental and collegiate environments. Fellows will work with the associate provost for undergraduate education to determine project(s) that advance the strategic plan objective to "Enhance support, incentives and structures that facilitate teaching excellence and student learning."

Faculty Fellow for Faculty Development
The Faculty Fellow for Faculty Development will work with the associate provost for faculty to support the faculty success objectives of the UI 2022-2027 strategic plan. The strategic plan focuses on aspects of the faculty lifecycle including recruitment, retention, development, mentoring, and recognition. For consideration, applicants should have a demonstrated ability to develop and support interdisciplinary project teams and previous involvement in and development of programmatic content. Fellows will work with associate provost for faculty to determine project(s) that advance the strategic plan objective to “Retain talented faculty through professional development, recognition, and a culture of connection and employee value.”

Faculty Fellow for Engaged Teaching and Scholarship
The Faculty Fellow for Engaged Teaching and Scholarship works with the executive director of the Office of Community Engagement on strategies to advance the community-engagement goals of the UI 2022-2027 strategic plan. This includes, but is not limited to, creating seminars and workshops for faculty and students, building networks and connections between interdisciplinary engaged faculty, and researching and developing new policies and programs to further advance community-engaged scholarship at Iowa. Although there is flexibility in the type of work conducted based on the faculty member’s interest and experience in community engagement, the Faculty Fellow for Engaged Teaching and Scholarship will be expected to contribute to existing Office of Community Engagement faculty programming, including Faculty Engagement Corps (FEC) and the Community Engagement Network for Practitioners and Scholars (CEN).
