Performance Review Cycle Update
Effective this year reviews are due between January – March annually, typically covering a calendar year review period of January – December. We must have one review on file during each compliance period which is now April - March. A dept may choose to have a different review period as long as they remain compliant. *Note: the review completed closest to the end of March annually will be the performance rating on file for salary setting consideration.
The last review cycle was Fall 2021. A new one is due no later than March 2023.
Here are a few options to bridge the gap/extended period management:
Complete the next review Jan-March 2023 for review period July 2021-Dec 2022.
Complete a late abbreviated review for July-Dec 2021 now, and then start the new Jan-Dec cycle for this coming spring.
Complete a July 2021-June 2022 review now, and then an abbreviated review for July 2022-Dec 2022 in Jan-March 2023.
Some other variation that makes sense for your unit as long as a new one is on file by March 30, 2023.
At a minimum we recommend reviewing and updating goals this summer/early fall to prepare for the annual reviews in the spring.

As you participate in the scavenger hunt this summer, you're also encouraged to participate in the monthly Pentacrest Museum Tree Tours! Juggling work and family life can be overwhelming and our own needs can too easily be put on the back burner. Attend this three-part series to identify quick wins for self-care and emotional well-being. Topics include nutrition on-the-go, adjusting your mindset, getting active when your time is limited, and resilience strategies. Participants may attend one, two, or all three sessions.
