Faculty and Staff Colleagues:
Next week we celebrate our generous UI donors with an annual series of campus-wide events highlighting the impact of their philanthropy ("Phil") and raising awareness on campus about the importance of private support in our public university.
Instead of just one "Phil's Day" this year, we've planned a weeklong series of events--and I hope you will join in! (See below for event details.)
Many generous alumni and friends donate to the university (including nearly 6,000 UI faculty and staff who have participated in the We Are Phil campaign since it began in 2013), and it makes a tremendous difference. We are fortunate to have so many "Phils" who empower our work and support our missions of teaching, research, and service.
