Diversity Catalyst Seed Grant

Greetings,

The Chief Diversity Office is pleased to announce that we are accepting proposals for the Diversity Catalyst Seed Grant. The Diversity Catalyst Seed Grant supports projects and programs with an immediate impact enhancing the diversity goals of the University of Iowa's Strategic Plan 2016-2021.

If your proposal will advance cross-cultural understanding, strengthen positive inter-group relations and promote a welcoming learning environment, and will benefit the campus directly, we would like to hear from you!

2017 On Iowa! Volunteer Opportunity

Greetings, Hawkeye Colleagues.

In five weeks, the 2017 On Iowa! program will be in full swing to welcome the Class of 2021 and new transfer students. The University of Iowa will be celebrating the seventh year of On Iowa! in what is embraced as a tradition to assist new undergraduate students in becoming more comfortable with their new environment prior to the first day of classes.

Week of "Phil" Activities

Faculty and Staff Colleagues:

Next week we celebrate our generous UI donors with an annual series of campus-wide events highlighting the impact of their philanthropy ("Phil") and raising awareness on campus about the importance of private support in our public university.

Instead of just one "Phil's Day" this year, we've planned a weeklong series of events--and I hope you will join in! (See below for event details.)
