The first University of Iowa Faculty and Staff Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Survey is currently underwayThe survey should take approximately 10-15 minutes to complete, and it is open until February 28, 2018.  You can take it here: diversity.uiowa.edu/survey

 

As academic leaders, you play a critical role in helping us gain a more thorough understanding of our campus environment.  Your support of faculty and staff completion of the survey will facilitate our work to make the University of Iowa an institution where everyone thrives. Survey responses will help us:

 

  • Gain a systematic understanding of campus climate.
  • Establish a baseline for measuring change over time.
  • Advance our work on current strategic plan objectives and shape future planning.
  • Ensure that people of all social identities feel welcome and supported in their professional development and advancement. 
  • Inform the first UI Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Action Plan.

 

I hope you will encourage faculty and staff to share their experiences through the 2018 Faculty and Staff Diversity, Equity & Inclusion Survey.  All responses are confidential and will be reported in aggregate.  Survey participants will be entered to win one of one hundred $50 cash cards.
