Funds available for Innovations in Teaching with Technology Projects

The Academic Technologies Advisory Council is seeking proposals for the Innovations in Teaching with Technology Awards. The program aims to raise the level of teaching and learning at the UI by supporting significant and innovative instructional technology projects with potential to directly impact student success and retention. Of the 187 proposals submitted since 2001, 64 have been awarded for a total of over $1 million.

Proposals for the 2014 awards will be accepted Sept. 18 through Oct. 17. Projects involving collaborative learning and student use of emerging technologies are encouraged, and projects should be new to the UI.
