Diversity Catalyst Seed Grant Call for Proposals

The Office of Equal Opportunity and Diversity in the Chief Diversity Office is accepting proposals for the Diversity Catalyst Seed Grant. The Diversity Catalyst Seed Grant supports new projects and programs that enhance the diversity goals as stated in Renewing the Iowa Promise: “Great Opportunities – Bold Expectations” The strategic plan for The University of Iowa, 2010-2016. Proposals should advance cross-cultural understanding, strengthen positive inter-group relations and promote a welcoming learning environment.

Applicants must be currently enrolled at or employed by the University of Iowa. All proposed projects and programs must be new initiatives. Funds may not be used to support ongoing projects and programs. We anticipate awarding up to five (5) Seed Grants with a maximum of $1000 each.

Proposals are due October 14, 2013.
