The Alliant Energy/Erroll B. Davis, Jr. Achievement Award was created to honor Erroll B. Davis, Jr. and his nearly 30 years of service to the utility industry and to honor and recognize the importance of scholarship and leadership by underrepresented minority students in the state of Iowa. The award recognizes academic achievement in business or engineering, leadership in campus and community organizations, and potential for future career success. We are requesting your assistance in encouraging qualified candidates to apply for this opportunity.

The University of Iowa Council on Teaching announces the 29th annual Outstanding Teaching Assistant Awards and invites nominations for 2017-18.  This award recognizes teaching assistants who have demonstrated outstanding ability as teachers at the University of Iowa.

A new Minors on Campus Policy promotes the well-being and security of the many minors entrusted to the University’s care when participating in University Youth Programs, as well as informs UI staff, students, and faculty who work with minors as part of University Youth Programs.  The new Policy will go into effect on December 1, 2017.
