Faculty and Staff Colleagues:

Last fall, the University of Iowa launched We Are Phil, an annual initiative to encourage faculty and staff to be philanthropic (to "be Phil") toward the UI by supporting causes on campus that matter to them.

The first year of the We Are Phil faculty/staff giving program was an outstanding success.  More than 3,000 of you made gifts to support the UI last year, providing more than $4.4 million in support for everything from student scholarships and social justice to health care, libraries, the arts, and Hawkeye Athletics.
