The University of Iowa has a long, impressive tradition of outreach and service to external constituents. One of our efforts to serve the public good while also fostering the creation of new knowledge is to send a group of faculty out into the state each May, to meet with Iowans in their communities and listen to their stories of challenge and success. Faculty and staff have come to know this opportunity as the Faculty Engagement Corps, but we are excited to announce that now in its 10th year we will be calling the tour the University of Iowa Engagement Tour!
