Overview
The Project MAUI Registrar's module consists of a wide variety of functionality centered around components related to collecting and maintaining institutional and student academic record information. During development the following will be considered for all areas of the Registrar's module:
- Data Model - Design of the basic structure and data elements needed for the various types.
- Interfaces - Administrative and view only interfaces for this data in MAUI.
- Workflow - Procedures may need to be added for the approval process of creating and modifying data.
- Security/role levels and auditing - Design role level security to allow view only to full edit rights. Design method for auditing entries and changes. Ensure FERPA rules and regulations are enforced.
- Reporting - Design and determine which reports
need to be real-time and part of the MAUI interface and which can be
created from warehoused data.
