Overview

The Project MAUI Admission's module consists of a wide variety of functionality centered about two main components, prospects and applicants. Additional components provide the necessary services to support prospect and applicant processing.

Component Description
Applicants Consists of self-service applications and application processing.
Auto Upload Automates the loading of online applications submitted by applicants.
Communications The student relationship management (SRM) system, which serves as the communication engine managing marketing campaigns and individual correspondence and interactions.
e-Transcripts Provides the facility to receive, load, and process transcripts electronically
Event Management Automates event notification, registration, and tracking.
Institutions Houses information for all secondary and post-secondary schools, including names, addresses, contacts, credit details, and student counts.
Institution Portal Allows authorized high school and community college administrators to access online reports about University of Iowa admission status and freshman year academic information for students from their schools.
Prospect Portal Provides for personalized web pages for prospective students.
Prospects Focuses on supporting student marketing and recruitment of prospective students.
Profile Improvements Allows for enhancements to be made to the Admissions Profile on ISIS.

We began the Admissions module scoping and planning efforts in mid-2006. The prospect component is expected to be completed in the summer of 2008. The applicant component is expected to be completed in summer 2010.
